We are very excited to have our friends, clients and families join us on the front lawn at Mount Ephraim Gardens, Dunkirk, Near Faversham where we have organised an afternoon of music and lovely Kentish food. Entry to the gardens will be available from 2pm with music from 3pm.

We have planned to provide you with a hog roast burger, glass of Hush Heath sparkling apple wine, portion of local strawberries & Solley’s ice cream, whilst you listen to local Faversham band Marylebone Jelly & the lovely Jason Allen Sway.

Entry to the ten acres of Edwardian gardens including the arboretum, lake & water gardens, topiary garden, Japanese rock garden and bridge, and rose garden normally costs £7 per adult, but is included with your ticket.

This is a ticket only event, with the whole of your ticket price of £20 being donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

There will also be a bar & a face painter, plus some added entertainment provided by James himself, if the bids are high enough!

Tickets must be purchased in advance & brought along with you on the day as each ticket has a voucher to be presented for the food & drink.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Do I need to bring my ticket?
YES, bring your ticket to gain entrance to the gardens & to use the vouchers.
No ticket, no entrance, no food or free drink.

What time can I arrive?
You can arrive any time from 2pm, the Music starts at 3pm.

What time does the day finish?
The music will finish around 6:30pm
All guests are asked to be clear of the lawn by 6:55pm

Can I buy other food?
No, only what your voucher entitles you to.
You can bring your own picnic or additional food.
Please take your rubbish home.

Can I buy drinks?
Yes there is a pay for bar, where you can buy drinks.
There will be some free water supplied by us as it will be hot.

Does the bar take Cash & Card?
Yes the bar will take cash or card.

Do I need a chair?
You can bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on.

Can I bring a gazebo or sunshade?
Yes you can, but please be considerate of placement to ensure you don’t block other guests’ views and pleasure.

Can I bring ball games or Frisbees?
Yes you can, but please keep the games to the back of the lawn, away from the house and marquees.
Remember there is a fountain and trees – no accidents please.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes dogs are welcome if you keep them on a lead.
It is going to be hot, so make sure you cater for your dog.
Please clean up any mess & take it home.

What about the kids?
Yes kids are very welcome, but please supervise them.
There is a large body of water in the gardens & a fountain on the lawn, we don’t want to lose any children in the making of this fun event.

Can I cut James’ hair?
You can buy a raffle ticket to cut James’ pig tails off.
We will supply the scissors as he does need to remain intact after the event.
All cutting will be supervised.
