It was a lovely evening at the Canterbury Business Awards

This week saw the team venture out together to the Spitfire Ground in Canterbury. Enjoying the inaugural Canterbury Business Awards run by Equilibrium PR & compared by the lovely Paul Andrews.

We were shortlisted for the Small Business Award. Which was judged by Deborah Turner FSB Champion for Women in Business along with the Whitstable Produce Store & Dodgems and Floss.

The build up to the event included a phone interview with Deborah. Filming a short clip for the award ceremony the week before the award. The Cricket Ground being the amazing back drop, which was fun, despite Jacqui needing several takes to achieve one decent clip.

Starting the awards ceremony with a glass of fizz, followed by a very presentable three course meal. Accompanied by wine and a few laughs with all the J & J team.  The team were very supportive – even James came, in his bowler hat.

The Twitter Board in the Judges area was filling up with regular tweets as the awards commenced. Many of the attendees enjoying the moment, tweeting their photos of the winners and runners up.

The Small Business Award was won by Dodgems & Floss, a fabulous graphic design agency in Canterbury, with Whitstable Produce & ourselves as runners up.
